Academic peers are experts in medical and higher education, from national accreditation councils, from national associations or other relevant bodies from the different countries where the IAI operates; who will carry out the study of the report and the visit of knowledge and verification at the headquarters of the academic unit. As prominent members of their academic communities, they are able to perform their own field tasks and be representatives of high-quality academic culture.
The IAI has a select group of international evaluator pairs. In addition, the origin of peers from all over the Latin American where makes them able to be sensitive to the differences between the projects they examine, the nuances of the realities of the regions and subregions with their particular idiosyncrasies and thus have a broad picture to consider the social impact of the programs they evaluate and their responses to the needs of the population.
