We want to promote and develop a culture of quality in medical education on a permanent basis, through a system and processes of international evaluation and accreditation of faculties, schools, careers, programs and institutions dedicated to teaching in health sciences in Latin America.

This process, in addition to including the main standards and indicators of traditional accreditations, includes the complex and changing areas of social context: primary health care, professionalism, internationalization and social responsibility, according to the realities and demands that future doctors will need to fulfill their social commitment.
